NO weight Loss this week - Drink more Water

Well, I weighed in on Monday. . . and no change. That can be a good thing- I mean. . . let's face it no change means. . . NO Gain also. So I'm looking on the positive side. I will lose this last 5 lbs and reach my Goal, it just may go slower than most. I really need to think water more often than I do. I will drink my 8+ glasses everyday this week. That's my goal for this week.
Yes, Seattle had snow- it's really not that much - it's just that most people either do not know or have forgotten how to drive in the snow. It took me over an hour and half to get home last night. That should be a 30 minute drive. . . .but I guess I was lucky- some of my co workers were in traffic for 5 hours. Now, that's just wrong.
So the weather Advisory says - more snow possible for the next 2 days - so, we will see. Most places only have about an inch and half on the ground- but a couple places got 3 to 5 inches last night. The roads aren't bad today, but tonight after work- could mean black ice. Hope NOT. Thanks for reading

Weight Loss posting

Gosh - CAN NOT believe I forgot to weigh in this morning. I decided to work some overtime days for the Holiday- so the last 3 days have been hectic- so I rushed around to get to work and forgot about weighing myself. Since I won't be home until after midnight- I will wait until my Monday wake up to weigh in. I know I fell short on drinking my 8 glasses of water all week again- darn. I just have to get a better system going for remembering that water. I have never been a water lover- But I know it's the best thing anyone can do for their body- not just for weight loss- it's necessary for a healthy body, nice skin and hair. So, guess I better get a fanny pouch to carry it around in. Anyway- tomorrow will tell me if I lost anything- hope so- haven't cheated- just haven't taken in those 8 glasses of water.
OK- I will challenge myself this week. . . . .
"I will not miss one day without drinking at least 8 glasses of water."
I will get these last few pounds off. I hope to post a few new pictures soon. All my picture posts are from August or earlier. Thanks for reading.

Weight Loss Slow Down

Tues.11-21-06: OK, this blog thing is NOT going real well- Guess it takes some time to get an idea how to manuver and post what I want.
Well, I have to say, I was NOT surprised that this past week was my FIRST week, since starting NS, NOT to even lose a pound. I thought since my weight loss has really slowed down- at the rate of 1 pound per week - that one of these weeks it had to happen. SO, I've made myself a promise to make sure I drink my 8 glasses of water for 7 days straight to see if it makes a diff. I know I have only been getting 5 or 6 glasses most days. I should just act like it is my very FIRST week on NS- and do everything RIGHT - like most of us do that 1st week. NOT that I have cheated- just have NOT measured every bite as accurate as I did in the beginning. GUESS I better get pumped up again. GEEeeee only 5 pounds to go. It feels great- so I am not giving up. I feel so much better about myself and healthier too!

2-19-06: 5 lbs LOST -I am enjoying the NS food and learning portion control.
2-26- 06: 3 lbs-I was hoping for 5 lb-Everyday closer to GOAL.
3-05-06: 2 lbs-lost forever,YEAH! Never thought I'd ever be "Happy" about being 200.
3-12-06: 2 lbs-I am UNDER 200. YEAH!
3-18-06: LQQKS like another 2 lbs, can't seem to lose more in a week-NOT complaining it's all good news just to be losing!
3-26- 06: 3 lbs gone Yeah!
4-02-06: Yes, 2 lbs more-Slow&Steady

12-03-06: 0 lbs-Third week with no Loss- I did drink my water- Guess it's more exercise this week.
12-11-06: +2 Yes, that's a Gain-Not good-but I'm still working at it-I will get these last few pounds OFF.
01-01-07: 1 lb lost- I'm back from vacation- Nice Holiday- Hope to reach my Goal in January.
01-08-07: 0 lbs lost- but still going strong. I will make it to GOAL.
01-15-07: 0 lbs lost- OK believe it or NOT- I am sticking to the plan-I am just NOT losing! I will stay focused- I will make my Goal- I just do NOT know when! But I won't give up!
01-22-07: 0 lbs lost again this week! Still sticking to NS. Maybe next weigh-in will show results!
01-29-07: 1 lb lost- Yeah! Finally- I am going to do this! Thanks NS.-I'll keep going- I am still not GREAT about getting in those 8 glasses of water everyday. I need to do it.
02/05/07: 0 lbs lost- But I'm hangin in there. I've decided to exercise-more than my everyday walking and biking- I need weight training! Nothing major-but light weights- I need to just do it! I need to focus and get it done!
02/12/07: 0 lbs lost- Happy Anniversary to Me and NS. It's been 1 year. Thanks NS- I am NOT at my revised goal of 140 lbs yet. But I feel great and I am still working on that last illusive 4 to 5 lbs. The scale would not give me a true reading today- one time 0 lost, another it read 1 lb lost, then 0, then 1,- so I decided to wait until next weighin to record the 1 lb. Hey maybe it will be 2 lbs on the 19th!
02/19/07: 1 lb lost-Well it isn't the 2 lbs I was hoping for-but I will take the 1 lb and be closer to GOAL. Almost there- but it is so slow! I will do it!
02/26/07: 1 lb GAIN! OK-I have decided to call a counselor and see what else to try-I am writing it down, exercising,& drinking water-But my body is not responding-WELL- at least not the way I want it too!! HELP !
03/05/07: 1 lb back OFF again! Hey, it's going to happen-this last 5 lbs MUST come off and stay off at some point. I DID talk to a counselor; and I have ordered the 3 day Body Boost Program-It will ship tomorrow-Hopefully that will JOLT my slow metabolism or whatever this plateau of 145 has become. NOW I need to exercise more than twice a week. I tried to find a "SLIM and TONE" here in WA-but 200+ miles is a little much to consider driving each day. SO, guess I'll check out LA Fitness or CURVES. Anyone recommend either???????? Thanks
