Well, I finally remembered my password to get in here and post a message. It's been awhile.
I am so excited-because I finally made my GOAL weight! Hooray! I lost 70 lbs. YES!!! It's a great feeling- I actually do move better and I feel better everyday. I really like being able to grab my clothes and NOT worry if they will be too tight today! Wearing a size 8 is great. I really did not have to buy alot of clothes while losing the 70 lbs. MY closet was full of size 16, 14, 12, 10 and some 8's were left. About 2 years ago I got rid of most of my size 8 items- I really never thought I would lose enough to ever fit into them again.
LUCKY for me, my daughter is a size 8- so I have lots of resources for clothes. In fact my daughter bought me all my outfits for my Mexico trip and they fit. She is great.
Speaking of Mexico- I will have to re-plan that trip- My passport did not show up in time for Mexico to happen- so that is another story.
So back to Nutrisystem, I can not say enough good things about the NS plan- it worked great for me. I actually changed my eating habits. I am always eating at least 5 times per day now- and it is so much better. NOT overeating is a good feeling- I use to be so hungry when I ate my ONE MEAL per day- I would overeat and be miserable. Yes, I knew it wasn't healthy- but it was easier at the time. Now I know with planning-comes success. Planning my meals, having my NS food available no matter where I am- is the key. It works!
Well enough for now- I hope to post some new pictures soon.
My hard drive crashed- so I lost everything on this computer. I will load a few pictures later.

OK-WHAT'S UP ?? Come ON- LOSE that Last 5 LBS and GET DONE with IT!
OK- I am looking back at all my weight loss and seeing that I WAS 145 at the beginning of DECEMBER 2006- Here it is MARCH 2007 and I am still playing with the same 5 pounds. This is a little more than frustrating- I just do NOT want to go back to my old habits- like starving myself to get a few pounds off. NS has taught me to eat with portion control and eat 5 times per day. I want to continue that. SO I have ordered the 3 day Body Boost Program-it is higher protein foods and lower carbs. Hopefully that will send a message to my body. AND, I know my exercising- has NOT been all that it can be- so I am going to have to bite the bullet and join a gym or fitness center to get me started on a ROUTINE.
I tried to locate the SLIM and TONE fitness centers here in WA state- but only in Spokane and Vancouver, WA- NOT too close to Seattle. And they do not plan on any more in WA at this time. SO- I am thinking about LA Fitness or CURVES- only because I see their signs while driving. I am open to suggestions though---write me. Thanks for reading.

The Holidays are Over
I had a GREAT Holiday. It was wonderful being off work for awhile. I visited my Family in Ohio. Even the weather was great. Unseasonably warm for Ohio. I did not eat NS 100%- but I ate 5 times per day and small portions. Thanks NS for training me on portion control and NOT to eat once or twice per day or large meals. I actually lost 1 pound. I am still working toward my GOAL. The last few pounds have been extremely slow- BUT I refuse to get discouraged. NS has been wonderful for me. I am very pleased with my results- Nothing has ever been easy when it comes to losing weight- But "NS" is the way to go. Anyone needing to lose weight- should give NS a try. It's the easiest way I have ever found to take off the weight.
HEY, I actually watched my first NS commercial in December. I normally do not watch TV- so I do not see commercials. At my parents home- the TV was on alot. Late night- there it was- all the people I have seen on the web site and in the brochures. All looking good- telling their stories. It was nice to see and hear them. Congratulations to all who have lost with NS.
WELL- I hope to conclude my weight loss journey in January- I hope to reach my Goal and start maintenance. I am recording everything I eat in my journal again and drinking the water- lets see what January brings. Good Luck to ME !!

NO weight Loss this week - Drink more Water
Well, I weighed in on Monday. . . and no change. That can be a good thing- I mean. . . let's face it no change means. . . NO Gain also. So I'm looking on the positive side. I will lose this last 5 lbs and reach my Goal, it just may go slower than most. I really need to think water more often than I do. I will drink my 8+ glasses everyday this week. That's my goal for this week.
Yes, Seattle had snow- it's really not that much - it's just that most people either do not know or have forgotten how to drive in the snow. It took me over an hour and half to get home last night. That should be a 30 minute drive. . . .but I guess I was lucky- some of my co workers were in traffic for 5 hours. Now, that's just wrong.
So the weather Advisory says - more snow possible for the next 2 days - so, we will see. Most places only have about an inch and half on the ground- but a couple places got 3 to 5 inches last night. The roads aren't bad today, but tonight after work- could mean black ice. Hope NOT. Thanks for reading

Weight Loss posting
Gosh - CAN NOT believe I forgot to weigh in this morning. I decided to work some overtime days for the Holiday- so the last 3 days have been hectic- so I rushed around to get to work and forgot about weighing myself. Since I won't be home until after midnight- I will wait until my Monday wake up to weigh in. I know I fell short on drinking my 8 glasses of water all week again- darn. I just have to get a better system going for remembering that water. I have never been a water lover- But I know it's the best thing anyone can do for their body- not just for weight loss- it's necessary for a healthy body, nice skin and hair. So, guess I better get a fanny pouch to carry it around in. Anyway- tomorrow will tell me if I lost anything- hope so- haven't cheated- just haven't taken in those 8 glasses of water.
OK- I will challenge myself this week. . . . .

Weight Loss Slow Down
Tues.11-21-06: OK, this blog thing is NOT going real well- Guess it takes some time to get an idea how to manuver and post what I want.
Well, I have to say, I was NOT surprised that this past week was my FIRST week, since starting NS, NOT to even lose a pound. I thought since my weight loss has really slowed down- at the rate of 1 pound per week - that one of these weeks it had to happen. SO, I've made myself a promise to make sure I drink my 8 glasses of water for 7 days straight to see if it makes a diff. I know I have only been getting 5 or 6 glasses most days. I should just act like it is my very FIRST week on NS- and do everything RIGHT - like most of us do that 1st week. NOT that I have cheated- just have NOT measured every bite as accurate as I did in the beginning. GUESS I better get pumped up again. GEEeeee only 5 pounds to go. It feels great- so I am not giving up. I feel so much better about myself and healthier too!

02/12/07: 0 lbs lost- Happy Anniversary to Me and NS. It's been 1 year. Thanks NS- I am NOT at my revised goal of 140 lbs yet. But I feel great and I am still working on that last illusive 4 to 5 lbs. The scale would not give me a true reading today- one time 0 lost, another it read 1 lb lost, then 0, then 1,- so I decided to wait until next weighin to record the 1 lb. Hey maybe it will be 2 lbs on the 19th!
02/19/07: 1 lb lost-Well it isn't the 2 lbs I was hoping for-but I will take the 1 lb and be closer to GOAL. Almost there- but it is so slow! I will do it!
02/26/07: 1 lb GAIN! OK-I have decided to call a counselor and see what else to try-I am writing it down, exercising,& drinking water-But my body is not responding-WELL- at least not the way I want it too!! HELP !
03/05/07: 1 lb back OFF again! Hey, it's going to happen-this last 5 lbs MUST come off and stay off at some point. I DID talk to a counselor; and I have ordered the 3 day Body Boost Program-It will ship tomorrow-Hopefully that will JOLT my slow metabolism or whatever this plateau of 145 has become. NOW I need to exercise more than twice a week. I tried to find a "SLIM and TONE" here in WA-but 200+ miles is a little much to consider driving each day. SO, guess I'll check out LA Fitness or CURVES. Anyone recommend either???????? Thanks
